Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
I saw this recipe today and tried it today. I followed the recipe except I added a chopped onion, a can of condensed Cream of Mushroom soup and 1/4 can of water because the sauce was really thick. I also only used 1/2 of the cream cheese. It's seasoned nicely, not salty. And once the chicken began to cook (with just the dry seasoning and margarine), it generated its own juices. I cut short the cooking time because the chicken began to shred (which really isn't a bad thing). I served it over pasta and my children enjoyed it. It's not the most attractive dish in the world, but it's good.
