About this Cook
I have an MFA in Costume Design and freelance at the Utah Shakespearean Festival and the Denver Center as a draper.
My favorite things to cook
I'm still figuring out what I like to cook. In college, I lived with 3 vegetarians and anything I knew how to cook had meat in it, so I didn't do a lot of cooking. Then I headed to grad school, where I didn't have time to cook anything. But since grad school, I have been cookin' up a storm!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve dinner. Brats, German Potatoe Salad, Lebkuchen, Pickles, and Pretzels. I look forward to this meal all year.
My cooking triumphs
Tandori Chicken! Made a yummy indian dinner with samosas & saffron rice.
My cooking tragedies
I have yet to try my hand at homemade sushi!
