Fresh Coconut Layer Cake
Yummy! My 7 yr old son, who shares my love for cooking, wanted to buy a coconut. Long story short, I wanted a recipe that used fresh coconut and something he could do with just a little help from me. This cake was perfect. Not too difficult, a little time consuming, but worth it in the end. This cake was great! The only thing I changed was instead of 3 layers, we made 2. Turned out great!!

Red and Green Christmas Jalapeno Jelly
This was my very first time make jelly. My hubby was pepper crazy this year when we planted our garden. Anyway, had a TON of different kinds of peppers and have been searching for new things to make. This was a real winner! I did it exactly as the recipe said except added the jar turning advice. It seemed so easy and quick. The jelly is very pretty and it tastes great. The consistency is perfect. Believe it or not, I've been eating it on my toast in the morning! I'm looking forward to trying more jelly making. This is a great one for first timers!! Thanks!

Italian Easter Bread
Just the way my mom used to make it! I'm not one for candied fruit, I always leave it out and I like a little extra anise it there. The almonds are a new twist for me and I loved it. So happy to see this recipe in here. Beautiful for Easter table. And it makes THE BEST toast in the morning. Thanks!
