I took a cooking course back in 1982. My main inspiration for cooking was my Mother. I would describe my cooking style today as simple due to health issues. stir fries, turkey dinners, pies/cakes French canadian meat pies were always made during the Christmas season. We just eat with Ketchup. My Mother was an excellent cook. Her tomato sauce was excellent, she at times put some pork ribs in the sauce and let it cook slow for hours. making petite fours for a wedding. it was hard work, put enjoyable a few minor mishaps.
