Three years ago for Christmas, I was given a Kitchen Aid Mixer. I figured now that I had this machine all the hard work was over! Duh, that was just the beginning. Now I have a multitude of gadgets and developed a love for baking, especially bread. Sourdough was and is my biggest challenge. I have collected a diverse sampling of starters from around the world and each time I begin a project, I approach it as a science experiment. Therefore, I'm never really disappointed, just astonished! My wife is especially happy that I now don't mind sharing in the preparation of meals. She thinks I could do a better job cleaning up the kitchen, however. When I'm not home on the computer searching for new recipes, or in the kitchen, I'm on the golf course playing the game I love.
