Sweet and Sour Sauce II
I used pineapple juice for some of the water. Ended up being 1 cup juice, 1 cup water. The end result was too sweet for our tastes, so I added some soy sauce, zesty Mrs. Dash, salt, and more vinegar. Next time, I will cut the sugar and not use quite as much juice. I am also considering using an artificial sweetner, like Splenda or whatever one is recommended for baking. Hubby really liked it. We made some chicken (browned in a frypan with a little margarine) and had it over rice.

Home-Style Scalloped Potatoes
Tasty and simple! Exactly what I was looking for, and nice and creamy. I had to cook mine for longer, (maybe I didn't slice thin enough?) and I added the milk sort of all at once, so that took a little longer to thicken, but the end result was yummy potatoes in that creamy sauce! We all liked this one!

Crusty White Bread
This bread is really nice for sandwhiches! It is soft...almost the texture of store bought. Although I like my bread a little heavier, like the bread machine, this bread has pleased the whole family! And it's even simple to boot!
