I am a wife, mother to six children (they are all grown) 2 grandchildren (one is on the way....but we are counting it anyway) and a teacher. I love my family and job very much. I love cooking for my family. Holiday meals, traditional southern food, cajun foods and breakfast. Making holiday meals with my girls. Making monkey bread and sasuage balls for christmas morning. Making cookies with my grand daughter. I leanred to cook the hard way...but trial a error. But I am most proud of my cornbread, dressing, meatloaf, fried chicken and turkey. Oh...my goodness...the first meal I cooked for company in my first apartment. I had invited my family and some close friends of ours over. I made fried chicken. Now remember I learned trial a error....boy was this the error. The chicken was done on the outside but man oh man not the inside. I was so embarressed. No one said a word...and that made it even worse. I wish someone would have made a joke...:)
