About this Cook
I am a mom of a 11 year old and the wife of an outdoorsman. I usually end up cooking lots of game like fish, venison, and wild pork. I like to cook, especially new things. I am not usually well put together when it comes to buying things at the store to make my meals. I am getting better at that. I love to spend time with my family at home or at the family boat (I get to grill at the lake too). We go camping and fishing, walking and bike riding. Anything we can do together. I love to cook for those I love. It brings me joy to cook a good meal, it is such an accomplishmant.
My favorite things to cook
I love to grill, I will grill any time of the year. Anything cooked on the grill works for me, as long as I get to cook it! Italian, Mexican & Texas home cookin I also love to bake and have a passion for making dipped candies like Bon Bon's, almost anything I can dip in chocolate.

Pumpkin Fudge
I had no problems making this, I have made fudge many times. Only problem was it did not taste good at all. I love pumpkin but did not like this. I also took this to a Halloween party and brought most of it back home with my dish. Some people said it was good.

Waffles I
I have never made my own waffle batter before & it was very good. These smell wonderful when you open the waffle iron. Doubled the sugar & vanilla as others suggested. Why waste money on mixes you have to add eggs, milk & oil to anyway. Might as well go all the way & make your own.

French Onion Soup V
I used fresh parsley (because I had it) and I took the time to caramelize the onions. I used Provolone to melt on top. I have never had french onion soup before so I guess I really do not like it. My husband said it was good and it tasted like normal french onion soup.
