Penne and Vodka Sauce
I made this recently for a party and have to say that the pancetta made it taste like something from a restaurant. I added at the end though a box of thawed frozen baby peas and not only did it give the dish great color but it tasted great too. We didn't skimp on the cheese too and it was yummy!

Golden Rum Cake
I made this recently for my grandson's birthday party and no, I didn't serve this to the kids. It was a big hit too! I have to share my spin on it though. I poked holes like people suggested, used white rum for the cake and I used coconut rum for the glaze. It turned out yummy yummy. Easy peasey too.

Fluffy Boiled Icing
Wow is all I can say about this recipe. I just made it for the 4th of July Flag cake and it came out so nice. Yes, it did take a while(at least 1/2 hour) to come to the consistency it was supposed to be but it was worth the effort. It tastes and spreads wonderfully. Definitely a keeper.
