Wow- this roast had the best flavor of any roast I've ever made. Who knew such a simple recipe could be so fabulous??? I even screwed up and used a bad roast-- it was a rump roast that I cooked on low for 7 hours but it was really really tough. It was like cutting tree bark, but the flavor was still so good. My picky pre-teen boys and my husband were fighting over who got the leftovers for lunch today. That has never happened in my house. Just imagine if I used a better cut of meat. I will try with a pork roast or chuck roast next time. Can't wait to try again. Loved the gravy too!

Fruit Dip I

This is always a hit! I use strawberry flavored cream cheese- makes a great snack for the kids with a plate full of fruit.

Spaghetti Italian

It was really tasty- a little runnier than I am used to. I need to find a way to thicken it up. The flavor is very good!

Veggie Pizza

Loved the cream cheese mixture in this recipe. Really tasty. I used different veggies (carrots, green onion, mushrooms and broccoli) but it was the cream cheese mixture that made it super!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Excellent- my kids love it. It takes just like Cracker Jacks. I liked it because it wasn't sticky and messy. Great texture and great flavor.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I made these muffins to take to my daughter's daycare yesterday. The kids loved them! I made them in as mini-muffins- perfect for little fingers. I used frozen blueberries and that worked great. I made them a while back with fresh berries and the batter turned a strange color. Prettier with the frozen berries.
