Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Wow- this roast had the best flavor of any roast I've ever made. Who knew such a simple recipe could be so fabulous??? I even screwed up and used a bad roast-- it was a rump roast that I cooked on low for 7 hours but it was really really tough. It was like cutting tree bark, but the flavor was still so good. My picky pre-teen boys and my husband were fighting over who got the leftovers for lunch today. That has never happened in my house. Just imagine if I used a better cut of meat. I will try with a pork roast or chuck roast next time. Can't wait to try again. Loved the gravy too!
