About this Cook
I am a happily married mom of 3. I love to cook and they love to eat. I am not scared to try anything. I will change a recipe to fit my taste. I have even combined recipes to make my own or improve on an ok. I have my faves. However I am always trying something new!!!!
My favorite things to cook
I love to make cakes, cookies. I looove to cook food real food. You name it I'll cook it. Within reason.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We like to make cookies together.
My cooking triumphs
Everything usually turns out pretty good. I had a hard time finding the perfect Chocolate Chip cookie recipe. Not even Martha Stewart had a good one for me. But I finally found the one my family loves. Martha usually never lets me down. But to each his own.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married I had a hard time making roast beef. After many failed attempts I finally got it down pat. And can make a succulent roast beef everytime.

Cranberry Chutney III
This recipie is fabulous. My kids loved it!!! I used less sugar about 1 1/2 cups I could not believe how good it is I used pineapple rum instead of orange liqueour. Soooo good! this is the perfect recipe to begin. It is something that I can easily add to or change as needed. Thanks.

Apple Crunch Pie I
This recipe is good. My family liked it more than me. I just didn't like the topping as much I thought it would be crunchier.
