About this Cook
watched my mom cook and decided to do it her way and not my dad`s.no offence dad.i can cook a budget meal between paydays or go whole hog on alaska king crab legs or a prime rib roast of beef complete with all the trimmings.love fish and chips and pretty much all seafood.
My favorite things to cook

My favorite family cooking traditions

My cooking triumphs
eggrolls loaded with about 6-8 different items.like chicken,shrimp or prawn pieces,bean sprouts,shredded carrots,diced onions,chopped garlic,vermicelli,mushrooms,bamboo shoots and water chestnuts.everyone raves about them.
My cooking tragedies

Lazy Katie's Taco Salad
No garlic? C'mon now. Also used extra lean ground sirloin and equal amount of lean ground pork. This was then a hit and keeper. Serve with beer.

Kosher Salt Encrusted Prime Rib Roast
Costco prime rib done as per this recipe and the oohs and aahs when I started slicing the meat about 3/8-1/2" thick and we saw the juice running and the pinkness not to mention the smell was too much. Our 1st. try and a winner.Great.
