I've been married since 1992 and have five children. I love the Internet, love to travel, love to eat, love my friends. I am going back to school to get my RN degree after being home with the children for years.

I love to cook almost anything...desserts are probably my favorites though :) I am constantly in search of the "perfect" recipe that kids and hubby alike will eat!

Fire Roasted Tomato and Feta Pasta with Shrimp
This is delicious. Not a budget recipe...the feta and shrimp make it more on the gourmet side...but worth it as an occasional splurge for our family. Our five picky kids all LOVE it and it is so simple to make! I followed the directions nearly exactly; I didn't have any fresh basil so I substituted dried.

Mom's Best Waffles
These were just perfect. I followed the recipe exactly and the whole family loved them. Will make them again...throw in bacon and eggs and you have the perfect low budget dinner! :)

Buttercream Icing
We used this recipe for my sisters sixteenth birthday party about two weeks ago .It is amazing but we did add some extra powdered sugar.
