OMG!! My husband loves this!! I made it at my home for when I hosted a bridal shower....Let my hubby and groom to be eat before they left and they almost finished both pies that I made!!

I purchased a very expensive BOX MIX for beer bread at one of those cooking parties.....My husband and I loved it! I decided to check out "all recipes.com" and found this recipe went to the store spent a COUPLE of dollars on self rising flour and what do you know....the exact same thing!! may add a little more sugar next time.

Well I sat and read positive and negative reviews on this recipe. I did take the advice of browning pork chops first which I wish I did not due because I feel the chops would have been more tender. I made sure I mixed the sauce well before serving. Very tasty it was on the thin side. I may next time cut the beer in half as others have done. Will absolutely make it again! Oh I used a Carona.
