I love to cook! I try a new recipe a few times a week. I have 2 children one hard to please the other will eat any and everything!
My favorite things to cook
I love to attempt spanish food. My husband is Colombian so I try to make him things he likes. Although I think he enjoys the comfort food I was raised on. I also love to bake.
My cooking triumphs
I have finally been sucsessful making simple spanich white rice. For years I could not get it right and surprisingly this website helped!

Gerry's Chicken Enchiladas
This was good, but only good. Did not feel it was worth all the effort. I did like the idea w/ soaking the tortillas.

Salisbury Steak
Made it exactly as written and to my surprise, It was Great! I did not double the sauce but will the next time. That's why it only gets 4 instead of 5. Cause as written it's not enough sauce. Oh and it was a bit oily....

Soft Oatmeal Cookies
OMG Delicious! I halved the recipe and still got 24 cookies. I also did not flatten them. Will keep this recipe!!
