Liked it very much. Next time I will cut the thin apple slices down to bite size. I made this and froze it. It was wonderful. Because I was going to freeze it I soaked the apples in warm wine, but did not cook them. I put the appples in just before I froze the soup. The apples turned out perfect after reheating, the were not mushy at all.

Cream of Tomato Soup with Pesto

Wonderful- I topped it with homemade creama and manchengo cheese. Served with warm sour dough french bread!!

Cincinnati Chili I

Was taken aback by how strong the cinnamom and clove taste came through. I will omit them next time. Also, see no need for the chocolate.

Real Texas Chili

The only thing I did differently was using top sirloin. It was horrible. Very bland. Will not make it again and cannot recommend it.

Tangy Pumpkin Soup with Green Chili Swirl

I thought the soup was great, but wanted to add some more flavor so I took the advice of 2 others and added 1 tsp. cumin. I also chopped up about 4 oz. of spanish chorizo, cooked it and tossed it in the soup. I also had some homedmade crema so I used that instead of sour cream. The soup was fantastic!!
