I have lived in Minnesota all my life. Married for almost 20 years. No children but 4 dogs 2 of which I rescued at the Humane Society. We are avid believers in rescue for animals. I love to cook and I don't think there is much I don't love to eat even more. Mexican, Italian, German Sauerkraut and dumplings, Lefse, Chocolate cake with my grandmothers chocolate frosting. I can cook just about anything once I set my mind to it. I am most known for my platters of Xmas cookies I give as gifts every year. I try to add a new or additional kind each and every year. Also for buns that I am requested to bring to every family gathering. And my 6 layer cakes with mousse between the layers. Biscuits for some reason they always seem to end up like rocks. My last batch of peanut brittle was so chewy you had to let it melt off your teeth or risk losing a filling.
