About this Cook
i LOVE to cook and i love to cook for others. right now i call myself an artisan as i actually paint bird carvings for a living. my call to the kitchen is too strong for me not to believe that someday i will have a small catering business or cafe or something like that. at least that is my future dream.
My favorite things to cook
i like to try anything but there is something to be said about a warm bowl of homemade soup. i always find it amazing how many different variations can easily be created from common kitchen ingredients.
My favorite family cooking traditions
i'm not sure we have any different than the typical family's.
My cooking triumphs
Trudy's wedding cake.
My cooking tragedies
Trudy's wedding cake!!!!!!

Crustless Spinach Quiche
delicious. easy! easy! easy! i used fresh baby spinch and just added it to the skillet when the onions were almost done. i also added some red pepper for colour. definitely a keeper!

Baked French Swirl Toast
very good and very easy. great because it isn't too sweet so when you add the syrup it's just right. i'll give it 5 stars because this is the first time i've eaten or made "baked" french toast so i have nothing else to compare this to.

Breakfast Sausage
very good as is. next time i will use the same spices but just a bit more of them for my own taste preference.
