Banana Bread VIII

I always end up with some bananas hangin around, and I decided to give this one a try. It was really quick and simple, followed it to a T, and everyone liked it!

Grandmas Fresh Apple Cake

OMG - this was too good. Glad I gave most of it away before i even tasted it. I would have downed it all. I omitted the raisins and nuts, and added more apple than it called for. Also made them in muffin form with whole wheat flour. They didn't look pretty, but they tasted AWESOME! DELISH!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

This was really really good! I was a little hesitant when I was mixing all those ingredients together. I added a few more shakes of hot sauce and a generous squeeze of honey after it cooked for a few minutes. I plan on making this often! Thanks so much!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Perhaps it was my fault, as this recipe is highly rated. I followed the directions as written. My dough barely rose (but I didn't kill the yeast or anything). It rose plenty in the oven, but the result was a hard, dry dough.

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Everyone who tasted this LOVED it. It was probably the most well-received of all the banana breads I've tried; my only contention was its high fat content. The bananas add so much moisture on their own, I have found lower-fat recipes to be almost as good.

Cake Balls

I saw this on The Pioneer Woman first. She recommends freezing the cake balls before dipping, and uses what looks to be Wilton Candy Melts. She also sticks lollypop sticks through to make them lollypops!! These are awesome and look really cute.

I've made a similar recipe- using 1/2 c brown sugar and a cup of chocolate chips added @ the end. Once you had the chocolate, you can't go back.

Zucchini Souffle

I've made this a lot; it's awesome. Like the other reviewers said, it could be bland, so make sure to salt it properly. I have also seen this recipe with a grated carrot as well. When I am not lazy, I throw that in- adds nice color a bit of flavor. Otherwise, it's one of those foods I don't tire of.

Banana Crumb Muffins

These are perfect! I replaced the butter with oil like many others did. I'm sure butter would have added a rich flavor, but some saturated fat would come with that! I've tossed in some flour-coated mini chocolate chips, and those went over big! This is the king of banana muffins!

Healthy Banana Cookies

These taste healthful, which they are. The natural sweetness proves that you don't always need to add sugar to everything! Maybe next time I'd use craisins (which have added sugar, oh well) or raisins.

Peanut Butter Chip Chocolate Cookies

These are actually the same dough as "Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I" on this site, which is my neighbor's favorite cookie variety that I bake... Peanut Butter chips add another flavor than just "chocolate again."
