I'm happily married to a wonderful man and have a new baby boy at home. We have a Boston Terrier named Quincy, and a domestic short haired cat named Ernie. Growing up seeing my mom collecting recipies and watching Julia Child on tv, I never thought I'd grow up loving to cook and bake. But I do! I find it to be relaxing and fun. Unfortunately my husband is a bit on the picky side when it comes to food, but I'm working on him! :) I love to cook and bake comfort foods. I am a slave to recipies, and am not confident enough in my own abilities to sway from a recipe. I baked a New York Cheesecake recipe, and someone said it was the best cheesecake they've ever had. No real tragedies. Knocking on wood. Any problems I've had with cooking usually is a result of me being careless and not properly reading the recipe. Ooops! :)
