Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Excellent recipe, did 1/2 cup of melted butter and 1/2 cup oil, as suggested by others. Very good recipe, will try raisins and nuts next time! thank you for sharing a wonderful recipe!

Cocktail Meatballs I

Excellent! The only change I made was to bake the meatballs instead of frying and I used 90% ground beef and baked on foil lined cookie sheets. To the sauce I added dry mustard and a little chili powder, but just a little! Delicious!!!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars IV

OUTSTANDING!!! 2 cups of powdered sugar and 1 2/3 cup of butter is enough, no need for the extra calories or sweetness! Brought to a party and everyone raved out them! thanks for sharing Justine!

Excellent! I also followed others advice and baked in the oven after the breadmachine does everything else. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes and 425 for 10 minutes. I brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with seasoned sea salt! I followed the recipe as far as ingredients and did not think it was too much rosemary! Perfect recipe and will make again and again! thanks!

Almond Cherry Biscotti

I made this Biscotti recipe as written, except for the exchange of Almond Extract for Vanilla. Some people said they had problems with the dough, here are some suggestions. I used my food processor until the addition of fruit and nuts. Then I put eveything into a bowl, put on some "surgical" gloves and mixed everything up. It went together very easily. Made two balls and rolled them on a slightly floured board. Place both rolls on parchment paper lightly sprayed with plain Pam. Make sure that your butter is extremely cold! This was is a delicious cookie! Thanks for the recipe!!

This was very good, however I used only 1 tablespoon of capers (I thought 4 tbsp were overkill). Being Greek, we liked the kalamata olives and we use tomato base for a lot of fish recipes. Thanks for a terrific recipe!

Pleasant Pork Chops

This was terrific, I thought I was eating in a restaurant! I did follow the advice of some other reviewers, 3 bay leaves, put back in the onion and garlic to cook with the pork chops. Also, I thickend with cornstarch and chicken broth before adding sour cream! It was the best, we loved it! Thanks for sharing, and my son is going to take the recipe back to his roommates at school to make it for them also. ;)

Easy Mashed Potato and Roasted Vegetable Enchiladas

Too much potato, and very salty. I gave it a three, because I asked my family to vote on it too. May make it again, but would definitely make some changes. Instead of boxed mashed potatoes, I will make my own. I will use other vegetables, like peppers and onions.

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta

I thought this was a very good recipe, however I did not wrap the chicken in bacon. I thought it would be way too much fat and calories. It was delicious without the bacon, and we didn't miss it all. If the chicken needs to brown a little more, just put under the broiler on low. I also used part skim ricotta cheese. Delicious! Will definitely make and again and serve to company.
