About this Cook
I am a 38 year wife and mother of two.
My favorite things to cook
I am from Texas and love cooking Mexican food and making yeast bread.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Yeast bread and cornbread dressing.
My cooking triumphs
Winning Grand Champion at the Heart of Texas fair and Rodeo
My cooking tragedies
When I was just starting to cook I made my version of hot wings. I thought that a WHOLE BOTTLE OF HOT SAUCE WOULD WORK NICELY. My husband and I had bread slices stuck to our lips for about 45 minutes to take away the pain !!!!!

Chicken and Wild Rice Casserole
This is good but needs a can of celery soup and I used 3/4 cup of mayo and it adds a tangy taste to it...

Tex-Mex Lasagna
This is a good recipe and I used cooked chicken, I also used enchilada sauce instead of tomato sauce made from a recipe on her called 10 minute enchilada sauce. I also used sour cream instead of cottage.
