Alright for vegan

Rivaled my family's original Dutch recipe passed down form generations. Wonderful!

It was very yummy and the whole pan was gone within an hour at my school but there was too much liquid.

BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE I'VE EVER HAD! I have no idea what the original poster is talking about with non-instant chocolate pudding so I just used instant. I made it for a bake sale and ti was gone within 10 minutes and they kept asking if I had more. Definitely going to make again and again!

Wonderful and filling

didn't use heavy cream and eneded up using 3 tomatoes, 1 canned chopped tomato, and a jar of spaghetti tomato sauce. very yummy

I thought it was a bit bland but everyone else at Christmas morning brunch loved it and I had nothing left! I just cooked it in a pan and then stuck the pan in the oven. Covered it in lots of cheese. I didn't slice it or anything. Just had people come over to the pan and scoop out what they want. Still, I had nothign left. even the pan was scraped clean!

Everyone loved these. I made the caramel and poured it into a pan adn then poured chocolate over it after it had set and before I put it in the refrigerator. It cut so smoothly and everyone absolutely loved them. I had about 150 but they were gone before everyone had otten to try them. Absolutely wonderful and everyone is asking for the recipe.

I also added walnuts and this was amazing! Everyone loved it. I used ground coffe and just mized it in with the chocolate mix. I made for christmas presents. I made four batches of it and it still wasn't enough because everyone loved it so much! Absolutely amazing!

Made for a bake sale and it was gone in 15 minutes before anything else! I didn't make the sauce but it was still super moist! OMG I've never had a chocolate cake this good. ABsolutely amazing!

Made them without the cheese and every absoltely loved them. I had a party that was buffet style and these were one of the appetizers. They were gone first and before the main dishes were even ready!

Alright. They were kinda odd tasting for a chcolate chip cookie but they were still good. I made them for my friends' birthday so we'll see hwo she liek sthem. It tasted very floury.

Really good! I added fudge on the top to make it even richer! Took it to a party and it was great! Easy and yummy and chocolate. What's better?

GREAT! AMAZING! Too bad there isn't a healthy alternative! I melted dark chcolate on top and it was even more amazing!

My mom loved them and ate them very quickly. I, not being a huge spice cookie fan, wasn't thrilled. Easy to make though.

Didn't have the lettuce and just ended up making a pretty layout of the meats and a variety of cheeses. It was gone by the end of the party and everyone loved it! People were so glad that I brought it because it was a good assortment of a variety of foods that were different from the typical "veggie plate".

Delicious! I took this to a large social event and ended up with none left. I didn't follow the directiosn fo cooking exactly and I don't knwo how much it mattered. I just ended up making the batter and cooking it for 45 minutes like you would a cake. I also whipped the eggs with an electric beater and I never refrigerated the baked product. I meant to originally but when I was making it, I was in a hurry and i forgot to reread the recipe. However, it was amazingly rich and fabulous tasting. I love the fact that it was actually fairly healthy. Eggs, butter, and dark chocolate, great examples of good fats, protein, and antioxidants. Definitely making again!
