Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs
Simply delicious! I love the ease of browning the ribs in the oven prior to putting them in the crock-pot. I sprayed them with a little olive oil spray to help them brown. I also seasoned with regular salt and celery salt plus pepper to give them a little zing. I followed the advice of other reviewers and used a combo of ketchup and barbeque sauce and skipped the chili sauce. I omitted the oregano and added about a tablespoon of minced garlic. I also poured the sauce over the ribs and browned them in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes prior to serving. They crisped up and caramelized beautifully! I will definitely make these again!

Slow Cooker Lentil and Ham Soup
Loved! I too did not have celery, so I omitted it. I used the entire package of lentils, a 14 oz can of tomato sauce, and a big box of organic low salt chicken broth. I did not add salt per other reviews and found it did not need any due to the ham. Prior to serving I added some grated romano cheese and some cooked elbow macaroni and some of the water from the cooked pasta to thin the lentils a bit. Delicious!

Butter Snow Flakes
I used the recipe as is and tinted half the dough green to make spritz trees. The orange zest gives the cookies a great and "not typical spritz" flavor. I did not notice the taste of the cream cheese. The dough held up well and pressed easily and the cookies freeze beautifully. Definitely a keeper.
