Newly married mom/wife of 5 beautiful children. Married man of my dreams June 2009. I now have children that range in age from 3 to 21 years of age :-) Am having a blast "starting over" as everyone keeps calling it. My hubby had a 3 and 9 yr old who I now get to cook for and have them help me. Am having a blast with it all. Love this site, it's been a big help with new recipes for the younger kids since it's been a while since I cooked for that age group. Thanks to all who post recipes!!! I love to try out any new recipe. I might not get it right the first time, but I just keep trying till I do. I also love to create recipes of my own. Hopefully one day I will have my own cookbook to pass on to my kids and grandkids. I guess my favorite cooking traditions would have to be the cookie baking at Christmas and the big dinner baking that we do at Easter and Thanksgiving. Our home is open then for anyone who want to come to dinner for those holidays. Christmas we bake cookies of all kinds for everyone and always have to many for us at home as well...lol I finally at the age of 38 mastered a lemon meragine pie. I was so proud of myself. The 6 lemon meragine pies that were a flop before I finally got it right.
