Favorite activity is basketball. I like to play wth my cat, Pumpkin, who is a Tortoiseshell cat. I am a dancer, and a painter, and a movie maker.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite things to cook are stuffed mushrooms, chicken-parmesan, with spaghetti sauce and melting cheese. I lke making crescent roll pizzas, with all the toppings we can afford from the salad bar. Mushrooms, green peppers, yellow peppers, red peppers, and tomatoes.
I like making fried biscuits and doughnuts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We like to keep the painted cookies for Christmas, but we always paint eggs for easter. We like to do something colorful for every Holiday's fun times. We'll look up a new recipe every Christmas and present it to the family, as the new recipe trial. The new recipe is always colorful and exciting from the Library cookbooks!
My cooking triumphs
I made a wonderful nacho dip, with rings of white sour cream over cream cheese and salsa dip! I have a picture of it that I might even post on this site!
My cooking tragedies
When I made some gingerbread cookies, they always kept getting burned every time I've tried making them. Now, I've learned to bake them for 10 minutes, not 15 like the recipe says! My nephew said, "Oh, I'm a failure! Failure!" I think it's better to say you messed-up, not that you're a total failure!
