About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
-Stir-fry is simple and quick...and makes for a great meal for one or two. -Pad Thai with chicken or shrimp -Pasta salads (veggie & non-veg) -Various chicken dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother cooked chicken most meals growing up and I learned that there are endless ways to prepare the delectable white meat! I continue this tradition by cooking chicken several times a week...different each time of course!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies II
Made the cookies as instructed and they came out well...but not great. They were good but have not a whole lot of experience with baking thus I may not have followed best practices...I think I'll stick to cooking and leave the baking to others!

Mexican-Style Goulash
I changed this up just a bit by using ground turkey instead of beef and also used pepper-jack cheese. The taste was awesome! Easy to prepare and plenty of left-overs for next day lunch. I highly recommend!!

Curried Chicken Soup with Chickpeas and Cauliflower
I agree with the other reviewer that this recipe needs a bit less water in the Fast Chicken Base, but other than that it was just about perfect! The coconut milk was a great touch that added to the soup's texture as well as the curry powder. I did however use 3 tbsp rather than 2 with the powder, and believe that this added a bit more flavor. Very nice recipe to have in the collection!
