About this Cook
I am 31, recently married, love to cook and entertain.
My favorite things to cook
The easiest thing that is quick and easy to make is my hamburger stroganoff. If I have time, i'll go with something like stuffed cabbage, pasta (sauce alone takes a minimum 4 hours), a simple roast in the crockpot, homemade tacos. I just like to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Being italian my pasta sauce is a long standing family tradition. There is nothing worse that sauce out of a can or jar.
My cooking triumphs
Not sure.
My cooking tragedies
None to speak of.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares
I make this once in a while for parties and people generally like it. It's an easy, fresh, summery finger food. Not quite a 5 star for me.

Barbequed Cabbage
I haven't tried this recipe but, I love cabbage on the grill. However, I parboil it first for a few minutes then make a foil packet and season it with butter garlic salt and pepper and sometimes a little italian dressing to keep it from sticking. Even people who really don't like cabbage love it.

Whiskey Slush
Now this is my grandmothres slush recipe! I found a similar one on here but they added pineapple juice, which she never did. I wish I was sipping on one right now. I'm definately making a batch this weekend. Brings back so many memories!
