About this Cook
I am a homemaker and mother to three cats (the children will come one day). I have been married for a year and a half and I am in love with adventuring in food. My newest endeavour was becoming a vegetarian, a lot of new things to explore.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Growing up in England, my favourite things were my mom's homemade meat pies, yorshire pudding, mint sauce, anything that had salt on it. However, my eating style has changed a great deal, but they're still really great memories.

Tasty Lentil Tacos
For an easier way to make this recipe try using 1 can of lentils instead of dry lentils and use a package of taco seasoning with 1 cup water instead of seasonings and broth. This makes a quicker easier meal and also makes sure the meal is vegetarian :)

Chickpea Falafel Burgers
My husband and I really enjoyed these. Instead of making burgers, I rolled them into smaller balls to make falafel balls instead of burgers. We really liked them :)

Picnic Baked Beans
Now a favourite in our house. I tried it for the first time 2 weeks ago and we have had it twice since then. A great staple in a vegetarian household (I substituted the crumbled bacon with sliced vegetarian "meat" slices)
