Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding
My family raved about the chocolatey flavor and I was delighted that it was so easy. I hid a red cherry in the bottom of each and let the top skin over. Our family tries to disturb the skin as little as possible as we try to get to the cherry! Started this tradition as silly kids and we still do it as grown "adults."

Elegant Wild Rice Soup
This was thicker than soup; too much flour. But everyone raved about the great flavor. Next time I'll reduce the flour and increase the chicken stock. Also, I used broken rice for soups and stews and it wasn't as "showy".
