I’ve just completed the fourth week of culinary school and have yet to actually cook anything…unless you count mayonnaise, which I don’t.  The first six week block is all about learning classic French cooking terms, methods, mother sauces, basic soups, commercial kitchen equipment and we… MORE

As a father and son of a father, there is nothing better than a lawn chair, a cold beverage and a grill full of hot coals.  Dad’s love to cook meat outside; it must be a primordial instinct left over from when we lived in caves and chased wooly mammoths.  Nothing beats a good grilled piece of… MORE

I used to own a coffee shop. I roasted my own coffee beans and baked my own scones and muffins and other tasty goodies. When the recession hit, we sank. How many articles have you read that say the first thing you should do to save money is cut out those $5 coffee drinks? Well if you've read… MORE

On Mother's Day my kids and I made the "Crispy and Creamy Doughnut" recipe here on All Recipes. I made only minor adjustments and used several different glazes. I rated it 5 stars, we just absolutely loved these. They were amazing and none went to waste! I will definitely be making MORE
