I knew when I decided to write about this topic I would probably offend a whole lot of people and have death threats made against me.  But in my endless drive to educate the unenlightened proletariat on the truth and madness of the restaurant/ foodservice industry, I had to express myself… MORE

So, foodie friends, how was your Thanksgiving? My blog here has been woefully neglected while I cooked up a whopping storm of holiday favorites. That animated film Cloudy with Meatballs could hardly compete with the Marmaduke household over the last three days! There was herb-butter turkey, sa MORE

Winco has a deal that if you purchase $50.00 in groceries you can purchase a turkey for .26lb a pound. I just purchased a 27 pounder. I hope it will fit in my roaster. The total cost is only a little over $7. I'm going to find many ways to make this bird stretch. I love congratulating myself on… MORE

There are a lot of good things to say about dining out in a chain restaurant, and there are a lot of dreadful things as well.  Let’s start with the good.  Let me think…oh yeah-average, lackluster food and automaton service with too much ennui.  Now don’t get me wrong, the service… MORE

This post is for Jomamma.  I saw your comment to one of my posts.  I'm not sure how to write you back directly, especially as I am weeks late in getting back to you, but maybe you'll read this.  Jomamma's dilemma is this:  Clients bring Jomamma lots of fresh produce.  … MORE

Hopefully this text will do the trick. ----------------------- I'm editing it now and nothing I posted seems to work. I know some MORE
